First semester weekend

First semester weekend 2023

The first senester weekend is organized by the student council of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology and is open for all first semester students. While we are happy to take any first semester student, available places are given to bachelor students first. The remainder is then available to master students too. We spend a weekend at a cabin with lots of activities with the focus on fun. This is also the perfect opportunity to get to know fellow students as well as the active members of the students council. Of course we will take care of your physical well-being with sufficient food and drinks.

Because the weekend is financially supported by our supporting association and stuvus we were able to reduce the cost for you to 30 EUR. It includes transportation by bus starting and ending on campus and accomodation as well as food and non-alcoholic beverages.

While we are happy to take non-german students to the trip as well, the weekend will be held in german. Detailed information can be found on the german version of this page.

• Departure from campus (tentative): Friday 20.10., 11:00 a.m., Meeting point: bus stop “Universität Schleife”
• Return to campus: Arrival at Campus Vaihingen in the afternoon
• Contribution towards costs: (max) 30 EUR
