First semester weekend

First semester weekend 2024

The weekend is organized by the student council of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology and is open to all first-semester students. While bachelor students will be given priority for available spots, this year we’ve reserved a larger cabin to ensure there’s enough space for some master’s students as well, so it’s definitely worth registering.

We’ll spend the weekend at a cabin, packed with fun activities. It’s a perfect opportunity to get to know your fellow students and the active members of the student council. We’ll also ensure your well-being with plenty of food and drinks.

The First Semester Weekend is supported by our sponsoring association, F2SEI e.V., and stuvus. This allowed us to reduce the cost to a maximum of €40. This fee includes transportation by bus to and from campus, accommodation, meals, and non-alcoholic beverages.

While non-German-speaking students are welcome to join, please note that the weekend’s activities will be conducted in German.

• Departure (tentative): Friday 18.10., 11:00 a.m., Meeting point: bus stop “Universität Schleife”, Campus Vaihingen
• Return: Arrival at Campus Vaihingen around 3 p.m.
• Contribution towards costs: 40 EUR
• Accommodation: Naturfreundehaus Donauversickerung, Tuttlingen
